I had the good fortune to be married in St James in Cameley. This was due to my family connections with the church and the village.

My Father's family first appeared in Cameley when records began in the 1600s and from here they came into the chew valley and surrounding areas.



The graveyard in St James boasts many headstones carrying my family name, and i am extremely proud to be part of the churches history.

Many of you may be aware of my passion for cycling, and that I gave up a lucrative yet unfulfilling career as a scientist to pursue it.

I was seeking to find a business that was seasonal such that i could spend time doing what I love, Cycling, and It was by accident I realised being a chimney sweep would help me realise the life I sought.

After I left my career I lived in Greece for two  years, and it was here whilst sat outside a cafe pondering the problem of how to build a new life  the moment came.

The owner of the cafe was having a momentous argument with a delivery driver which ended with the driver getting in his van and speeding off. 

It was from this I linked being out and about in a van to being a chimney sweep. 

I thoroughly enjoy my work and meeting all different types of people. I have met some very interesting people who have had an amazing journey through life, and i look forward to meeting even more.
